For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved to create; whether it’s through writing, photography, art, music, technology, or baking, I am constantly finding new ways to express myself and utilize my talents in fun and interesting ways.
My background is in writing and photojournalism, having earned my master’s degree from Boston University in 2008. After graduation, I worked for several boutique photo studios in Boston and Nashville before making the switch to full-time marketing copywriter and content manager for a Nashville-based publishing company, where I worked for almost a decade.
I currently work out of my Charlotte home as a freelance copywriter/marketer and family photographer, which allows me the flexibility to work weird hours, have complete control over the coffee pot and microwave, and sit in the carpool lane every Monday through Friday.
I’ve recently written lifestyle stories for Charlotte Magazine and tech blogs for a California-based start-up, edited press releases for Rosetta Stone and the Space Coast Office of Tourism, and have helped local businesses manage and create web content and marketing campaigns. As a photographer, I’ve captured so many amazing memories from family Christmas card photos to newborn baby pictures to campaign events for local political candidates. I am so lucky to do what I do every single day.
If you need help with your next creative project, let’s chat and see if I can help. Thanks for stopping by!
